The Spy Who Loved Me was one of the first films I recall seeing at the cinema as a kid (Grease and Star Wars were others). I believe I henceforth watched all Bond movies up to and including Golden Eye on cinematic release – but I retain particular affection for the first one I saw and it’s follow-up (Moonraker) – both of which featured the seemingly indestructible Jaws.

Bond and Jaws in freefall fighting over one parachute is surely one of the classic moments of the entire franchise.

RIP Richard Kiel

It was one of the earliest Bond films I can remember seeing at the cinema, with my sister as it happens.
