It's Friday night I'm mellow and happy

My grand sons were here tonight and that's good
I think grandmas house is a place they should

They've gone home now leaving me shattered

well it looks lovely and sunny out there
and today I really do not have a care
will go to confession as I normally do
and then go shopping for a thing or two

I want to get a pine bookcase for bedroom
and I want one that will make me swoon
coz pine comes in different shapes and sizes
and in many clever and colorful disguises!

I want real pine and not just any old wood
so my books have a good home as they should

Well my father what have you to say
about what happened to me in Mass today?
I only forgot to take along some change
and Uncle gave me such a look of derange

He is a tight man at the best of times
and all the time in my car he climbs
then offers lifts to all his old mates
who live miles away on council estates

he does not offer me a bleedin bean
and today at mass, not so very keen
to give me change for the collection
He counted it out for my correction

Then! he only had the flaming cheek
to tell me to pay it back by next week!
and guess how much he counted out to me
for the plate...a measly little 50 pee!


sorry for the moaning my lord and friend
but he's drove me round the flaming bend
and rather than gossip all that I know
I have came on here to let it all go

Hello veggie one - hope you're well
how was your day, come and tell

I spend the day at a Food Fair
andthere was a craft show there
I went with hubby and his mother and father
who worked himself into a lather
coz it rained all day and was pretty cold
and no matter what, he wouldn't be told
he huffed and puffed whilst walking around
whilst trundling along, without a sound
was my mum, who was just glad to be
spending the day with hubby and me

Aww Rexi I guess it wasn't the best weather we've had
to go trapsing round..I agree with OH Dad
but to be fair..instead of being a pain
He should have sat in the car and stayed outta the rain
and not spoil your time when you're out for the day
Next time I'd tell him "NO! you can't come with us today!....

I'm running for the next bus

So I've come home from work early
coz I've found myself bang up to date
will do extra hours at the weekend
the Bank holidays can go at a rate
and then I have next week off
so my dept I want to have straight
so the person doing my work
won't find themselves in a state..
