was not here earlier coz between forum me, you
I thought I had caught the dreaded swine flu
so was waiting for my Doctor to ring
to tell him symptoms and everything

well after I old him all
he was right on the ball
and said I just had local flu
which relieved me very much too

so if you are worried about swine flu
the best thing for you to do
is ring your surgery or private doc
and they will ring you back and wont mock

well I been diagnosed with the swine flu
and here is a little info for you
I found it out by trial and error
within the midst of all my terror

when you ring up your local doc
they keep tamiflu meds under lock
coz they have to pay for it you see
and dont readilly dispense the remedy

ring up the out of hours doc
who do not keep it under lock
coz they are a locum out of hours
and not worried about spending powers!

I feel ok at the minute but achy
and have been hot cold and shaky
my throat feels like sandpaper
and my chest hurts..a right ole caper

when I cough I bring up some stuff
and they call some types of cider rough!
well this beats rough cider hands down
and makes me retch heave and frown

I must go to bed to rest
am not looking my best

Dear Bagel Queen I've only just read
That you are poorly and in your bed
I hope this doesn't last too long
Wishing you fighting fit, well and strong

It seems alot of people are catching this flu

The moto GP season has reached the halfway Mark
there are days Rossi wins like a walk in a park
Hayden crashes, Stoner whines
Toseland gets lost, lorenzo shines

I am a 'flu buddy'
for my poor infected friend
she doesn't feel to awful but
headaches send her round the bend

Yesterday I took her a paper
and some shopping, then to her glee
I decided she looked well enough
for me to go in and have a cup of tea

She'd been at home all week
And no-one had called round
Man - she talked for England!
I didn't make a sound!!!

I missed BB last night was out at a BBQ

I've dug a new bit of garden
outside my house, at the front
it used to be a patch of grass
but as grass, t'was a bit of a runt

So, I dug up the grass 2 weeks ago
and dug over the soil beneath it
But every cat in the neighbourhood
has been using it as a toilet

Today I have planted it with many plants
It will be a plot to appeal
and if the cats come to poo tonight
I swear I will hear them squeal

Because, after I put in all my new stuff
I cut loads off my holly bush
I've laid it down on top of my plants
