I must take him out one night

when I had a new Kitchen fitted
up in roof the electrician flitted
for even tho I live in a big flat
its a converted warehouse on thames mat
have to go and pick some Family up
each of them is such a lazy pup
when I at Mamas they know they can drink

We were given 1984 by Orwell to read
but please bear in mind and take heed
it can get very boring at times
and your eyes blur reading the lines
other than that it was an OK ish book
but I wont be going for a second look!
the book we are reading next is a hatchet
coz I have never read a Terry Pratchett
and am looking forward to book to read
bookclub is good coz it sows a new seed!

till they all blended into one as a whole

Am having an easy day.
But when no Workie, get no pay.
Garden is coming on well.
And the rain is making the veg swell.
There seems to be a few bugs around.
But I've put some pellets on the ground.
The tomato's have a long way to go.
But I just love watching them grow.
The peppers don't seem in a hurry.
I'm waiting for them to put in my curry.
The Chili is slow, should have put in a pot.
I only grew it because it's so hot.
The Lettuce seem ready, think I can pick.
Will have to wash first else I might be sick.

Homegrown they say tastes better ya know
plus as you say you get to watch them grow
will cut down your grocery bill
a definite perk
especially in times when you have no work...

So good, never thought they'd match it
But two months later I was back
Saw a Pratchett play called The Truth
it was so funny, nothing did lack
the laughter raised the roof
