Yes ...she’s watched them....they must be carpenter bees ....they ate great chunks out of our old bird box too

Yes ...she’s watched them....they must be carpenter bees ....they ate great chunks out of our old bird box too 

 I googled and it seems that carpenter bees are the wood eating bees. Well named
