I was wondering if it was the GIF that was posted by MrsH because I have been posting on that thread for days and everything has been fine. I did leave a wee message for her regarding the gif so maybe if she deletes it I can try and post.

Erinp, I've replicated MrsH's animated gif posting in this thread for you to see if you can post there so could you see if you have posting problems there:

Erinp, can you have another look at that thread I created for you as there's something else for you to try out.

Erinp, I see that you were able to post to the music thread so the problem doesn't seem to relate to there being several video clips, and probably not MrsH's animated gif.

I went to have a look at the thread using Internet Explorer. My version is a lot older than yours and I only use Firefox now but I did notice something a bit odd about the page you were unable to post. The right half of the screen was further to the right than on other pages. Topic Page 1 etc didn't start until after the right edge of postings. On other pages Topic Page 1 etc starts sooner.

I don't know if on your version you have the same effect. I don't see why that format difference would affect the ability to post though.

El Loro, do you have any kind of error reporting tools in IE that could tell you if something was wrong with one of those pages?

Lori, I don't know that I do have any error reporting tools in IE and I'm not sure that I would have the same problem as erinp. When I was in IE I did open a couple of postings on page 15 as if I was going to edit them and I did have the normal Submit Reply button which erinp didn't.

Hmmm. I just don't know enough about this to be of much help.

If it's any help some of us have been getting blank pages for days ....it seems to happen in the last two posts of the page ....once the page turns we can post again 

So we just post despite seeing a blank page

Is the page COMPLETELY blank? Is there ANYthing on the page? If someone could get a screenshot, that'd be helpful.

If you're on an iPad (I seem to remember that you are), I think you click the home button and the on/off button at the same time to get a screenshot.

If I'm reading things right, this has happened before. The thread titles page shows (let's say) 15 pages. Click on 15 and you get a blank page. click on 'last post' and you're looking at a post on page 14.

lol....I finally got a blank page Lori , but when I tried to do the screenshot all I managed to do was switch my IPad off ! By the time I rebooted someone had posted and the page turned

Erinp, I have posted smileys on the DOI thread as requested.

I did this using my Internet Explorer browser and had no posting problems. Also page 8 looked normal and did not have the same layout as page 15 of the CBB gossip thread. So it looks as if your posting problem is unrelated to that layout quirk.
