It's 22 years today since Freddie died, hard to believe it was that long ago. He was one of the greatest entertainers, singer and songwriter. He's still missed but the music lives on. One of my favourite songs is this one. Hope you're still rockin' in heaven Freddy

Very true Velvet. Rosie I saw Queen at Live Aid, fantastic event, shown around the globe and raised over 100 million, pity it wasn't enough to end starvation forever.

i'll be honest it dragged on at wembley
when you watch it on tv youve got bits inbetween interviews etc..
when youre there you just see loads of roadies on stage setting up for next act
but having said that there were some great acts

she did the same when i nearly squealed when liza minnelli came on stage

Yes there were. I'm not a huge fan of Elton John but when he sang his version of The Show Must Go On he put so much passion and emotion into it I was not only very impressed but it made me emotional too
This is one of my favorites out of many, and also his last video before he died I think 
Their performance at Live Aid was outstanding and they were by far the class act to follow

Its amazing you were there Yellow Rose. Just watching it on tv sent chills up my spine. And of course, Freddie stole the show the way he commanded the audience.

I've often thought that the lyrics in some of Freddie's songs are like the story of his life, before and after his diagnosis. This is also a big fave of mine and when I play it it always make me reflect on his personal.....story? What an incredible vocal, as always.
