I think lessons have been learned though and this years is shaping up to be much better.

Noirin gets it bad on this forum. She's been called a Wh*re, a slut, and various other obscenities from just a few forum members.

But yes I agree that in general we're much more sedate this year.

Don't It reminds me of some really good times. I really enjoyed last year on the forums. Although this is a LOVELY forum, I met loads of really nice people last year and had such a laugh. And met someone who I ended up falling head over heels with.

BUT! I think the reason there was so many arguments and so much nastiness is because, on average, the forums last year had at least 500 people in at all times. Sometimes (picturegate) it had well over 2000 people online. The lack of numbers and the closeness of those here makes it impossible for it to be as explosive. Also, C4 forum attracted far more trolls and flamers than this site does, because of the lack of numbers and because it is an unofficial BB site.

I also think our friends in Seattle are having a positive influence on the forum.
I think their interventions are tactful and wise.
They can also be sterner when necessary - for the good of everybody in the forum. I think they are very fair.

Yeah last year was a nasty one. But I like to remember the bus ride thread, that made me laugh so much. But there did tend to be certain people who jumped on you for having a different opinion to them.

Who did win? I gave up watching last year's BB and can't remember who most of the HMs were. I'd forgotten about Mikey, Darnell & co until I was reminded by this thread!

She had a unique posting style. and it usually started with "Princess Nikki" and consisted of no more than five words. Drove me crazy!
