If you had previously registered for the forums that you were using temporarily before the gaga forums came to be use the password you had there, it takes precedence.

Hey Dave. There has been no complaint from any forum member since this place was so kindly introduced by yourselfs. So this model here is a good successful model. Why isn't it not being used at LiveCloud? Or is this model going to be used?

Hi Gypsie, I agree the Support Forum looks very basic at the moment, if that's an example if how the new Forum will be. It needs some tweaks as well like last poster being shown. Also the latest post pushing the topic to top of the page.

they're still sorting out bugs over there, one of which affects my posts lol, but I'm trusting the Mods and techy people to allow us to have a Forum where we all feel comfortable eventually....I for one am hoping so cos for sure I'm not moving over to DS lol.

I think it's worth bearing in mind that usage on the C4 site when BB was on was massive and after BB the usage dwindled away and that would have happened this time whether we moved to LC or not.

Essentially, we have no choice, have been given the option of a new home, it may not be ideal but it's a way for people who enjoy chatting to continue doing so. If we want to carry on as we do now we will go over, doesn't mean we are happy about it and we will because there is no other option.

another point to remember is, once bb is over, threads etc. slow down and it can all get a bit tedious , but over on live cloud, there are loads of other stuff you can do, and the blogs part is great.

Marge, when the forum goes over and you can just sign in and post I honestly think you will feel alot better. All the extras are lovely if you want to use them, don't be scared there are so many FM's who have now got the hang of it and will be so pleased to help their friends over.

It'll be ok.... the others are working on the new forum format as we speak, and the Groupee/Gaga lot have been fantastic at taking on board feedback.... they are really working with us.

me too katty, but ths is a done deal, and you are able to ignore all the other stuff and just use the forum.it's not like facebook with all the applications and stuff, just different areas, like the communities part(forums) the blogs part, the groups part, it has a buddies system and private messaging.you can just hop between the different parts or stay in one place.

I started playing with my toolbar and popped up all over the place
Although I still tie myself in knots....I'm finding it easier to navigate with practice.

It'll all be OK in the end, I'm sure of it

Marg, it's not scary, honest. To be honest, I find it ok, it just looks different, I can still read it, I can post and I can quote - I don't tend to bother with links and fancy smileys, but I'm sure I can work it out if I have to. I'm not interest in the other Facebook-y type stuff, so I've book marked the support forum for now and when this place moves I'll bookmark that and you just go straight in. I'm not posting over there much at the moment for the simple reason is the main forum is still here. Hope you stay around (and that goes for everyone... almost)

Honestly peeps, it's absolutely fine over there. I've been casing the joint all morning and it does look and work a little different, but if you spend half an hour mooching about it'll all fall into place quickly, I promise
