It's bright pink and lilac..it's dead bonny
Me too I just looked out of my kitchen window and the sky due North is very red. This time of year, the day is longer, the further North you are... so it's probably a bit lighter where you are now.quote:Originally posted by lainy m:quote:Originally posted by Cheeky-Pixie:

ANOTHER nice day? I can't remember the last day it didn't rain.
We have hail stones like footballs (well slight exageration)

Yep, I was just thinking that while out smoking a fag. Some pink fluffy ones too. Pretty.

*boasting* We have had two nice days this summer.
Really? Where are you? Where I live - we have had about 30-35% rain and 65-70% nice weather this summer.. It ain't been the best summer on record, but it's been OK. Certainly better than 2008 and 2007. I actually have a good tan!quote:Originally posted by Moomin:ANOTHER nice day? I can't remember the last day it didn't rain.
I'll swap any of you.. your rain or hailstones for the oppressing muggy hot days we're having! Its not nice... we've all got headaches!

Year before last it was amazing! We go for a middle of the night walk up to the orchards... (no lights up there) to watch them with the kids!

You should come up to Blackpool, the sun has been shining and the air is clean and fresh.

*packs suitcase* <--- & shades!
We have two fans going in the lounge... and all they are doing is moving the thick oxygenless air around. My dog can't get comfy anywhere... panting away!
I live in the mids, but we spend a few days in London last week, and it WAS muggy there. Not too bad here though. Certainly don't think it's been an AWFUL summer!
