so who knows.

every time she pops up on tv, she  gets my back up, don't know why, probs the 'untouchable' aura she has.

Is it just me then who thinks that Becky and her partners/friends/cohorts fit well into the useful idiot category, and that Murdoch would be quite happy to sacrifice them?

The counts on which they're being charged do deem very specific - it's taken long enough to put the case together. I can't see the CPS going ahead unless they were very confident. I know it's awful to say but .......................I'd really love to see her bought down a peg or too. She's far too cock sure for my liking - I bet she's really hard nosed.

I wouldn't be so sure it would only bring the incumbent govt. down.

The noble opposition will be in the frame too,Rupert's had them all over the last 40 years.

As soon as we  learn that 99% of politicians are in it  to line their own pockets, greasing their own pole with their feet firmly jammed on our necks, regardless of  which party they belong to,and all any govt. will ever do, is the same as the last but ever so slightly differently....

The more content we should all be to  be a bit  more French in our approach to politics and the ruling classes, and take them out and shoot  the feckers.

Her ex husband called her a 'hard nosed cow' once in public, so mayby she is.

And of course let's not forget Tony B Liar - this from the BBC

Former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair is godfather to one of Rupert Murdoch's young children, it has emerged.

Mr Blair was present last March when Mr Murdoch's two daughters by his third wife, Wendi Deng, were baptised.

The revelation comes in an interview with Ms Deng in a forthcoming issue of fashion magazine Vogue.

Tony Blair's office declined to comment on the report, which sheds new light on Mr Blair's ties with the media mogul.

Mr Blair, who is said to have been "robed in white" during the ceremony, is the godfather to Grace, the second youngest of Mr Murdoch's six children.

The nine-year-old was baptised with her younger sister Chloe, on the banks of the river Jordan, at the spot Jesus is said to have undergone the same ceremony, according to Vogue.

Did he? I know he called her a "homophobic cow" in public...

Still: lovely woman, obviously...

How they squeal when they finally get a dose of their own medicine.  "Witch hunt" indeed.  The money is well spent to bring to book a bunch of corrupt above the law sc****gs who've been pulling the strings of PMs and governments for years and have excelled in vilifying millions, intruding on lives and generally being a bunch of self righteous self appointed bullying s41t$

Well of course he is - just like Thatcher was reputed to be.  The irony is that the inequality of opportunity created by his favoured type of laissez faire market-knows-best capitalism reduces social mobility.  It allows the wealthy (which must include the aristocracy) to get a larger slice of the pie to build a greater war-chest to pull the levers of patronage and privilege by schooling, inheritances, internships and trust funds. IMO of course!

In my view, the unintended (or perhaps intended) consequence of Thatcherism that Murdoch and DM hacks much admire, is that rather than creating a thrusting, confident, entrepreneurial working/middle class that would clear out the privileged deadwood  - as the rhetoric implied - it mostly benefited the old school tie brigade.

Still, I do agree with him on the Monarchy.
