Last night Charlie chatted about his mum for quite some time, reminiscing abut his childhood among other things.Did something spur this?,a birthday perhaps something which saw him chat as he did.

I didn't see any live feed but yeah, that's possible.

I don't like Charlie (at all) and I don't want him to win...but imagine if someone asked "So what does your Mam do for a living then?"...or similar...is he supposed to just tell them to shut up?

It's tricky, I don't want anyone to win without fully deserving it...but sometimes it makes me sad when I hear stuff on here. People never want anyone different from them going in. No one wanted Mikey to go in...everyone moaned about the "pity vote" yet when he actually went in he showed that he wasn't really the type to attract pity.

I sometimes think people just want a house full of able bodied, white, middle class, perfectly-brought-up people from well adjusted families. All under the guise of "fairness"

It depends who's telling the tale, and under which circumstances, and with whom they think it should be shared and why. I'm very intolerant of self-pity, and folks who use a sob story as a way of attention seeking!
I dont think it should be used at all whatever circumstance Frowner... Its not fair to the other contestants...

I should have added that too Thumbs Up
