Anybody who watched the last series - I've just noticed that the winner's story is on BBC2 tonight at 9 p.m. A follow up on The Cheerful Soul. I love this programme and hoping this might mean there's a new series on the way.

Cheers for that. You KNOW that it one of my favourite series, Kaffy. I do hope there's another this year. I think it's made by the same production team who do 'The Apprentice'. (Morning, btw).
I shall be watching
I LOVED that programme, and though I wouldn't have chosen them as the winners I shall make sure I watch that.

They weren't my choice either.... but I can't for the life of me remember who was! My memory! I did think the bumbling guys might have won at one stage.

don't worry Kaffy - i can't remember my favourites, either.
I think it was a couple who did more down to earth food for families.
And in the first series I liked Lloyd and Adoua (sp?)

Hello everyone - I hoped there would be a thread about this programme
I love this show and was so pleased when The Cheerful Soul won.
I don't remember there ever being a winner's story in previous series - or maybe I just missed it

Hello, Miss S No, I don't remember a follow up show last time either.
Id forgotten what a fool Harriet's Dad (NOT Mr QOTHT!) was. I liked the tall bald guy with the wife who looked like Olive from On the Buses.

Harriet's dad!
She had potential but he was a blithering idiot.
I hope this show isn't too much of a recap on the whole of the series - I would like more than 10 mintues of catch up please!
Raymond is looking a bit rugged with his designer stubble!

Oh he doesn't suit the stubble does he?
Obviously going for the relaxed look
It looks like a lovely place they've got.... I always think the locations on this programme are so idyllic.

Aren't they just Kaffy?
I always wonder how they go about finding the locations and actually using them for the time required.
Doesn't Raymond's place look posh?

Hi Rexi - the kitchen looked absolutely boggin' before they started.

Doubt I'd be able to afford a carrot at Raymond's gaff
I always thought The Cheerful Soul was a very apt name for that couple's restaurant - they seem lovely - especially Russell

Jellus! I get the local cheap Italian and a pub crawl!
Hi Miss S Kaffy
I meant Le Manoir - that's where we might go at Christmas.
Le Petit Blanc, where they are now is fab - and not expensive at all

Even more jellus!
I wouldn't allow Michele's hair anywhere near food.

Hi brisket, I remember thinking that a lot during the contest! They're a nice couple, but I find them a bit sickly sweet sometimes.

I tell you something, I couldn't run a restaurant in a month of Sundays - far too much hard work
Blimey, Michelle!!! I've never seen her get angry before. She's not very good at it though She needs to work on a 'stern' tone.
Oh dear. There is another side to the smiling one.
Awww... they've had a little baby. It's so cute.
