There's very little of Ray Alan with Lord Charles on Youtube but this is a very short clip I found. I remember them from the 50s and 60s.

Lord Charles terrified me when I was wee.

He was on TV quite a bit in the 70s.

No, that was my cousin El Sid - you can tell the difference because I don't have a ring in my scalp. El Sid had to have that implanted when he was young. Like Lord Charles he was rather fond of the drink and tended to fall off his perch. In the end the ring was put in so that the ring can be put on the hook at the top of his cage so he didn't fall off. In the end he came to a rather gruesome fate in the jaws of Lenny the Lion.

Aww Judi Spiers on the radio was reminiscing about Ray Alan and Lord Charles and I had forgotten his catchphrase "silly ass" (I've spelt it like that because although it sounded more like the English version of the word I thought I might fall foul of the mods ),

Aww RIP,he was from a different era really..With the "Silly ARse" Comments,I do remember him from the old  shows etc. Though those dummies are evil looking now..as a few horror films have portrayed them etc.
