Raul didn't get a look in I'm afraid

I would DEFINATELY rather not comment on Raul Moat, except to say I find the fact that SOME people actually support this individual, very disturbing and horrifying. That is all I have to say on him.

found the fact he would rather go to jail for an unspecified amount of time for ANY crime as a deal instead of being brought to task for one he actually commuted very enlightening. He really refused to be found out for anything he did, he thought he was untouchable and always right.

aint that all men though...You know it's true
He does seem to have had an almost overwhelming desire to blame others rather than look to himself. Or even to just say, "Well, shit happens"
Strong martyr complex going on as well. Oddly enough.

It was a conscious choice and a destructful one.
Interesting how suicidal tendacies are linked to homocidal ones.

I find it disturbing that there are people out there who actually think this thug was some sort of hero and actually built a shrine to him
There are alot of odd, strange, misguided and disturbed folk out there.

Not watching. This man doesn't deserve to grace my TV, I have no interest in anything he had to say. Let the mind doctors analyse him I don't want to.

disturbing as it is, police corruption played its part in the heroic status he received

why is that lockes?
Not going down that road of police corruption, which I think is a load of tosh.
He brought his demise on himself. His fault and no-one else's.

Why do you feel the need to be so unpleasant Lockes? It seems you can't have a sensible debate without having some sort of attitude.

I don't think any of us are au fait with corruption in Tyneside police. To say it is tosh or indeed the opposite is daft.
That being said, he clearly was nuts.

You started this thread and yet don't seem to be prepared to give your own views. Why? were you waiting to see what the majority opinion is so that you could go with that?

I dont know tyneside police but im pretty sure they had more on their plate than causing mental micky to go on a shooting spree.

No I dont think the police set him up, but the general ill feeling towards the police in alienated communities helped him gain this heroic status

Pleads the 5th.
LOL Mental Mickie!
OK, I don't think it's fair to blame the police ... the guy was THREATENING to kill any cop that came near him and already killed one man and tried to kill a cop AND his ex girlfriend. So what what were the police supposed to do; bring him an extra value meal from maccy D's?! This guy was a thug and a murderer and a coward, who couldnt handle it that his girlfriend didn't want to know him anymore; He is NOT an urban legend (or a HERO,) and he never was!
(Shitting heck, so much for me not saying anything!)
