Methinks it's more for 'their' benefit than ours. I don't think you can see any statistical details appart from how many ticks it's got at the top.

thankyou slussy. i think you might be right although i doubt it gives "them" much information really. on what criteria are posts to be rated? who should rate posts, what motivation might drive a rating etc etc.
