On BB launch night I posted a semi-deranged anti-Tesco rant in BB UK because Tescos have stopped selling their Finest Pepperoni and this had caused me to trudge around town at lunchtime trying to find a deli and I failed so ended up spending 50 quid on confectionary in Selfridges as consolation. I don't usually buy choc â I just needing cheering up after my thwarted pepperoni quest.
Anyway, I put the chocolate in the fridge and on Thursday (during BB HL show) I opened a bar of white choc, broke about 8 pieces off the mother lode, confidently bit down on it using the back molars (on the right-hand side) and crunched on something hard during the second chomp. This turned out to be about one quarter of a molar tooth (think an old filling cracked).
To make matters worse, I phoned the dentists on Friday and there is only one dentist there at the moment as the other 4 are all on holiday. The earliest appointment I could get was 9th July!!
I am thinking of suing Tescos cos they started the ball rolling, as it were.
By the way, I have found an Italian deli in the Arndale food market (at the risk of accidently bumping into Electric6 I might add) and he doesn't sell pepperoni cos he said that's just our name for salami napoli or salami calabresi except it's not quite the same as pepperoni as the salami doesn't have those little pepper corns in it but it'll do. And what does he know anyway? He's a blond Australian.
It's just started chucking it down...
