i like square ones
i fall off the round ones
at a farm near Boston they make shapes out of bales, last year was a dragon (i think) they also made a mammoth
Oooh.... that's not as random as you think Summer! Me and my son had this exact conversation two days ago!
I'm torn!
Our convo then led on to what the advantages/disadvantages of each shape may be..... so then I decided I liked the round ones because you could roll them.
Machel..... I saw that Mammoth! I live close by to where they make them...... the poor mammoth was set on fire by some little git though
for ages I mourned the change from square bales to round bales.. I can remember as a kid playing on the stacked square hay bales..
but driving around here at the moment seeing the massive round ones dotted all over the fields I decided the round ones are really pretty too, in their own, more modern way!
I like the round ones...the stacking of them may not be as easy or neat, but they look so much prettier in the fields...and they make me think of swiss roll
the nearest i get to horses are the peeps who bet on them in the shop next to me i feel so out of the loop here
square every time. I recall as a child playing in massive hay barns and climbing up the the top of stacked hay, a good 15 foot high at least. You couldn't do that with round

My cat went to the cattery in Brothertoft - once we found it!
Ummmm.... after some consideration I think I prefer square Sweet, cos you can sit on the and stack them.... but then on the other hand... round ones look quite nice......
*sighs* Awww..... the days of sitting on the square bales eating my pack lunch after horse riding.
You can't beat a square bale .....
.....but the round ones do look very pretty in the fields when the sun is shining.
Nope...still can't make up my mind.
