I missed ten minutes of yesterdays first eviction show to finish watching Toy Story 1, I still love that film how embarrassing.

Lol Darlo Toy Story 1 is one of my favourites I watched it so many times with my grandchildren,I would rather watch it than last nights eviction, you did not miss much it was a pretty boring forgetful interview
I haven't seen TS3 yet RZB i'm currently pestering though to get my wish.

It's brilliant, you'll really enjoy it, All the Toystory films have been great imo,
I don't think I've even seen Toy story 2 My education is sorely lacking...

Bring a large pack of tissues Darlo
I love Toy Story Darlo. It was the only thing that would keep my youngest sitting down for longer than 5 minutes. He could say every word of it. reach for sky
I plan to watch TS2 next now I got it on video the other day.

It was really good, for me it was about Children growing up and drifting away from the family, and other childhood memories, My wife thought it was just another modern day cartoon, Reference:

it;s more about Woody , Jessie comes on the scene and Buzz is more in the backgrund.
Woody is the best.

Funnily enough - its seems to be affecting men more (according to the dj's on the brekkie show the other day anyway) They said the same about Up which I haven't seen either.
my 2 went to see toy story 3 in the week......and cried.....then they came home and cuddled their favourite toys from when they were babies.....bedtime bunny and moley.........as they are 17 and nearly 15.....i shall be using this info at a later date against them!!
OMG Spongey that is so funny, the other day my mom and dad found a Woody and Buzz toy that me and my younger brother used to play with ages ago still in fine condition.
darlo xxx........the youngest one 'lost' moley in her tip of a bedroom the other week......we spent nearly all day looking for him.....she was in tears thinking she'd lost him.....eventually we found him much to her relief........course the next day she was back to full on teenage grunt mode and thinking she knows it all.....ahhhhhhhhh the joys of teenage daughters............

The saddest part for me was when one of the kids in the film pulled the string on the back of the talking Woody and the words "there's a snake in my boot "came out, We had that toy, and my youngest played with it for hours pulling the string, I must of heard the phase a 1000 times, It suddenly reminded me, my babies aren't babies anymore,
Ha Ha I suppose it's better than having to deal with lots of dolls etc.
i know exactly what you mean rzb........it's funny how things bring back memories.......i was in the park the other day and a mum was sat there with her 2 daughters aged about 5 and 3 eating ice cream.i thought god we used to do that!!.......now the only time i see my 2 is if they want a lift somewhere!!
and darlo.....more importantly....when your parents found your buzz lightyear toy....did you play with him again?!...

Maybe, then I let my niece and nephew play with it LOL.
Stop, you are all making me feel 'lonesome'. The word reach for the sky make me think of my now 15 yr old who was then about 3 and his pudgy little finger pointing upwards.
He came home from TS3 feeling the same way although he didn't get to see it in 3D.

We are noticing this more & more, We couldn't even get them to come to Toystory 3, it was like a slap in the face, They said they'd rather have the money and go out with their mates. All part of life, and back on the of letting go I guess Spongey.
All I can say is, thank god for grandchildren! I doubt if I would have watched TS 1 & 2 if it hadn't been for my granddaughter! Haven't seen 3 yet though. Hmmmmmm, wonder when she'll next be down???

Goodness RZB, I relate totally to everything you are saying! I cried like a big old fool at Toy Story 3, for all the reasons you have stated. We have brought up our boys (14yrs and 7yrs) with Andy, Woody, Buzz and the gang and this film felt like an ending. I loved how Andy introduced all the toys to the little girl and had a last play with them, and when Andy's mum went into his empty room and just said, "oh Andy..." Gulp...I seem to have something in my eye PS My husband cried too.
yep you're right rzb........not easy is it?..........although my youngest in particular still has some aspects where she's almost like a toddler!..if we go out to eat(which isn't that often cos they won't come!)....i'll ask her what she's having and she'll tell me,then say 'can you order it for me please mum?'!!

I think many of us share your 'guilty secret' darlo my hubby and I used to watch all the kid's movies together, much more entertaining often than adult movies, I don't like violence Reference:

It really is Stonks, my wife words to the kids when we got home "your dad have another Marley & Me incident" I'm getting the tag of a serial sobber. ....I blamed the 3 D glasses, it's the polish they use on them, made my eyes itchy,

..my worse ever sobbing incident was when i was pregnant with my eldest, it was to Highlander, the part where the song comes on Who want to live forever, when he walks up the hill still young and his wife is old and dying..the sobs were hysterical....Reference:

Hahaha
Oh Gawd, I cried great wracking sobs at...ABBA the stage show!! I'm blushing at the memory It built up slowly from when the guy started singing "Our last summer" but what absolutely finished me off was the mum singing "Slipping through my Fingers" about her daughter. *Is wobbling slightly right now* I went completely, whilst my sister patted me and my mum had her arms around me. By the end of it neighbouring audience members were trying to console me!
I recovered, however, to find myself up offa my seat and singing and dancing with gusto at the end. I think the audience were happy for me, and quite relieved

My persuasive charms have worked on my younger brother so we're off to watch TS3 on Wednesday because our local cinema does a 2 for 1 offer, only 10 minutes away from where I live too.
Watched TS2 earlier.

I can't stand Toy Story, I think I may be in the minority though
I also don't like Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Willy Wonka (both versions), Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Mary Poppins and Pinnochio (sp).

I love all the Toy Story films...the latest Toy Story is brilliant! I took my nephews, they loved it too. I love Ken and Barbie..Ken is hillarious.
OK I went to TS3 this afternoon and sobbed! I was told it was 'emotional' but OMG!!!
It was just such a shame some eejit thought to taking their 1 year old and that it was OK for it to scream blue murder through most of it!!! Unacceptable IMO!
I sobbed in the 'Slipping through my fingers' bit at Mamma Mia too -
