OK you are given a task in the BB house which might affect other members. It requires you to act as if you are in boot camp under a tough tough tough drill sergeant. There are hot lights all over and you are told that you will do push-ups and running on the spot and star jumps etc for 6-8 hours. Now just tell us all that you would say yes.

I would at least give it a go. I also wouldn't expect one of my friends to do it for me.
This is the least of Ben's troubles. BB just gathered all the housemates together and played footage of him and TOT talking in the bathroom, so now everyone knows that Ben lied about TOT wanting Shabby's hats and so on. Corin and Ife are going mental at him.

I love it
I love Ben to bits, but he is a wimp in the nicest possible way.
I would do it
Can't say I would impress the drill sergeant but I wouldn't quit after 10 minutes.

I like Ben a lot a lot a lot but I have to say, I probably would do it or at least give it more of a go.
BB are really making it very difficult for Ben imo....I hope they're as quick to show the HM's things others have said/done.

Poor old Ben, all he's trying to do is go the way of least resistance. He'll learn to grow some balls and tell ppl how it is. Maybe not in there, but as a consequence.
He should have just researched what BB is all about and expect to do things he's not used too. Plus he needs a change of attitude with regards to 'team work'.
If he doesn't want to do the tasks he should leave. Part of the show is to complete tasks to help them get money for food. He is being selfish.
I do all that stuff for hours as a warm-up for my proper exercises.
Well I must admit that some of your answers have really made me smile, thank you
I wouldn't have passed it on for someone else to do... I would have given everything I had to do it myself rather than that happen!

Sunshine made her point, she was saving the crisps for the day after. Everyone else were being impatient and ungrateful and in Ife's case fecking rude
Yes, I would have died trying, probably.
Honestly? Nope, not on your life.
What happened when Shabby told of her TOT task to Keeva? Not a lot. In fact, Shabby and Keeva have lost a lot more than Ben has.

when scabby disobeyed the TOT - keeva spent 3 hours in the room listening to Ben - nothing else happened- this is blatantly biased against Ben and i am not particularly a fan of his - but i cannot stand it when something is unfair
I personally would have given the boot camp thing a go though

But they didn't constantly break the TOT rules.Ben didn't do the arm wrestling thing so his punishment was that he HAD to pick the stand up routine, which involved performing for the crowd.
He then blabbed about the TOT which meant he had to endure the Drill Sergeant, he gave up on that which meant his 'conversation' with the TOT was broadcast to the other HM's.
Do the crime, ya do the time (in my BB book anyway)

I felt sorry for sunshine TBh - I think she was bullied by JJ as was Rachael - he picks on women who find it difficult to stand up to himBB wanted Sunshine out and scabby and keeva in - it was blatantly biased editing against sunshine

But she was accused of not being a team player Rawky in pretty much the same way. Ben yesterday won them the shopping budget and Scabby and Keeva have got away with blue murder. But lets pile all the blame on Ben, why not?
Ben made no effort to start an arm wrestling contest,
he made no effort to speak 'street',
he couldn't last in the taped up challenge, and he couldn't be bothered with the boot camp task.

Actually it was Scabby who gave away about the TOT although BB had made it pretty obvious by doing it when everyone could see.Reference:

But he even says, he's not a 'team player', look at how many tasks he's given up on? Don't get me wrong, I kinda like the guy, he's a bumbling buffoon, which is funny to watch, but he doesn't help himself when it comes to the tasks.

Maybe so, but he could have denied it even if the others didn't believe him.
An honest answer he does not really try and that is the point,if he tried and failed fair enough he said on LF he may do them in the future and there again he may not ..

Wouldn't do 5 secs for a drill sergeant.

The secret was well and truly out. Before Scabby opened her mouth Ben was still saying he couldn't talk about it but Steve and Dave had already gone into the bathroom saying who ya talking to Benny? But let's not let the truth get in the way of a witch hunt. Same thing happened to Sunshine, she was quite prepared to share the crisps and had thought they would be better shared in the morning rather than just after they had all had pizza but did that stop them ranting and raving at her?
I think if Ben had made a proper effort in his TOT task, but had been caught out by the others, when talking to the tree, then he wouldn't have been treated so 'harshly' by BB.
I'm glad that they are putting their foot down. The TOT tasks are one of the most entertaining parts of the show.

I agree.... and if there is one thing that really annoys me , it's the House hunting pack mentality!Reference:

If and when I realised that the "drill sergeant" was Myke Hawke - the rent-a-gob.army-bully who they wheel out for such programmes as Boot Camp, Trisha, Jeremy Kyle (I think), those programmes where bad boys pretend to join the army, and so on - I would lose some interest because I regard him as 1-part actor.I think he's been on BBLB too.

I agree Baz but there again if we think that BB will ever let us play with a level playing field we kid ourselves. Obviously posh Ben must be shown in the worst possible light now and obviously some are only too happy to go along with that.
Oi, oi, oi, oi, oi, oi Squigg Squoggs
I'm not defending the HM treatment of Ben, I'm just saying he should try and finish his task/punishments and expect to repercussions from BB if he refuses.
Tis all I'm saying, honest guv.
