Mark Serwotka says (as many others have) that there is no need to make cuts in public spending.

I am not a genius but even I know that we cannot continue to spend money that we do not have.

How can it be OK to keep running up a bigger and bigger debt?

Many of the people who don't like the cuts won't say what they would do instead however.

Also there are very many people who believe there should be cuts - as long as they are not affected.

Diane Abbot says that David Cameron "lost his rag" when he described Ed Balls as irritating, and that he needs to watch it! She took it seriously.!!!!

But I agree with Matthew Parris on the radio who described it as banter, thought it was amusing, and an example of the playfullness of the house.
