As "fresh" water flows into the sea, it picks up disolved salt and other minerals. Not much - so rivers don't taste salty - but it's still there. Once it reaches the sea, the water is evaporated to become rain, but the salt is left behind. Over millions of years, those small amounts of salt build up...

I know. That why I'm querying if youd want to be one prematurely. It's not as if you'll have a choice. So why would you 'try it' early? I'm sure one dead person is much the same as any other, no matter whether they HAD BEEN famous.
