Am Googling some online and their prices seem to have dropped rapidly

Have they gone down drastically or are all these sites dodgy?

For example, am looking for the classic short in choccolate and I swear they were over a hundred squid, yet all the sites I keep finding are between £60-£70?

Yes I know they are ugly, but they are damn comfy and after all these years...I am giving in regardless of Mr Q barfing!!!

Just did Saz...spookily enough. They're charging £160 just like the UGG site.

The other sites (and there are loadsssssss of them!!!) are charging about £70, but they don't have proper contact details. Mr Q always said to me if am ordering from a website make sure there's a contact no. and address.

I bought a pair last year for my daughter 80 quid off ebay.. as soon as they arrived I knew they were fake.. went on a couple of websites that confirmed exactly what I was looking at... luckily I got a full refund from Paypal and didn't return the boots !! but they are crap and didn't last long... I will be buying her a 'real' pair this year but I will get them from a shop....
If it seems to good to be true.. it most likely is ..

Be very careful about cheap Uggs - they are almost certainly fake. I ordered some last year as a present from a site that portayed itself as being genuine & in UK -  boots arrived in time but got seized by Customs , turned out they were fake & got destroyed.
Customs told me that they cannot keep up with the dodgy Uggs & GHD straighteners - 4 week backlog checking & crushing !

Managed to get my £80 back after a few e-mails back & forth to China .... where else

Thanks PG and JD

I will or should I say, he will be buying them from the official UGG site.

Tigs, I don't mind investing in the UGG cos it's been around for a while now and it hasn't gone out of fashion....yet.

Deffo getting the Bailey Button in chocolate.

I bought a pair of Ugg boots about 3 or four weeks ago they were £150 and that was the cheapest pair and I did shop around,I bought them for comfort my feet get really cold and  socks dont help, the ugg boots have kept my feet lovely and warm I dont usually spend that amount on boots/shoes.

Which one did you purchase Marg
The ones I bought are the small ones about 4 inches above my ankle the longer ones were £179  upwards very expensive, if it was not for the reasons I mentioned above I would not have paid that kind of money but they are so comfortable I am glad I bought them

but I tried them on hoping they'd look alright but I looked like a penguin
and what pray tell is wrong with looking like a penguin

I can't afford the uggs  they're just to expensive

I've purchased a pair of chocolate long Uggs from Asos a few weeks back and they were £190

But worth every penny coz I love them and they'll last years and they were an early xmas prezzie from Mr L kinda! .  The real ones are never cheap and the have UGG written with a larger G in the middle on the back of the heel. I got some fake ones by mistake and they are falling to bits and I've only had them a year.

If a website says they are genuine and made in Australia or NZ it's a load of bollocks because the real ones have been manufactured in China for the last 3 years!

I was gonna say that the Celtic Sheepskin company do boots similar to Uggs, and are quality boots.. but alot cheaper.

But having just had a look it would appear they have ramped their prices up a bit since I last looked!

If you want cheap UGGs try getting EMUs instead, they are the same style and genuine, in fact they are more popular than UGGs in Oz, and they are cheaper I got the tall chocolate ones for £85.

As for man UGGs- you have to have a certain attitude to pull them off, don't want to look like you are doing the walk of shame back from your gfs house in her shoes...
