I scan mine one at a time time Karma..... but I am sure that some of the more up to date scanner/printers may have a multiple function....

I think I managed to do about 40, before I got too bored to do anymore,  the rest (all my photos) are in a couple of shoe boxes... all optimistically sorted to be scanned...

they've been waiting in the "to scan" shoe boxes since just after last xmas!  

Oh Jesus me and that bloody scanner are gonna proper fall out. I can't get it right, either people are standing on their heads, half of it's chopped off or it's tiny the people look like dwarves and there's a big bastid white space

Mark wants me to get him one for Christmas, he;s bookmarked am HP one he wants but i can't look cos it son the other account.

It's the HP Deskjet 3050, was about 40 quid or summink like that. The quality of the copies and print (docs) are really good, it's just the blasted pictures. But then I never read the manual with things like this, which probably explains where I'm going wrong

Yes what Croc said...you can rotate. Just keep trying x

Usually hp scanners have software for tweaking your pictures after you've scanned them and I think rotating along with removing red-eye etc is part of that.

alternatively you could just put the photo in the scanner the other way up from the way you originally scanned it and do it again.

Drop it in paint? Eh? I buy all this techy stuff so I don't have to learn how to do any of the techy stuff cos the robot inside the machine should know how to do it already arrgghhhhhh

Right click on the scanned pic...one of the options should be 'open with'...select paint...the in paint rotate it to how you want it and save as...

I have a Cannon, which may be different but it does tell you what to do, although i have tried to scan some old pics, which went not too bad but i didnt know how to save them . I know i am not being helpful, so i shall shut up now!
