I don't have an answer as I don't have an iPhone, but I suspect it may be easier if your pc is on a wireless network. If you say whether or nor your pc is, it may help others in giving you help.
I have an Iphone.... and have saved a video to my Mac......but I don't have Windows...
What do you mean by wireless network El Loro? I have wifi if that's what you mean?
Lol, thanks Baz...I have a feeling it might not be possible on a windows pc

Sorry Temps Is there nothing on the Apple Mac website that will help you......??
oooh the apple mac website...never thought of that...can you convert files on your mac to windows I wonder?
I really don't know Temps.... we are all Mac.... but I am sure the website will tell you, it's really comprehensive......
I don't have a Iphone, but I'm sure it would be easy Temps....If you're computers got wifi and you're phones wifi it's surely possibly. Then if you're clip is in a format windows does not recognise all you need is a free video converter.
If its attached to email can't you just access your email from the windows PC and save the file? Or if its your apple thingy email, then forward it to a different address (like hotmail) that you can access from anywhere...

My daughter sends me videos from her phone to my email address, i then send it to my hotmail address, open the attachment and it should say ..save as...then go to your documents and save it there. or open another file
I'm an apple user, I should think it very possible but I'm not sure how-
The previously suggested e mailing it to yourself sounds good tho

No you see, I can open it and view it, but I wanted to save it to the pc so I could upload it onto FB. But I can't save it to a file on the pc to upload it.
That said, I haven't been on the Mac site yet, so will try there now
I've a feeling though this free video converter thing you're talking about Panto Dame, might be what I'm after. Can you recommend a site?
what happens when you right click and go to save as? or download?
When I click download, it downloads it to the pc...but it only downloads it as 'img1234' type thing. It doesn't give me a file path that I can follow, or use to upload to FB.
When i open the file it opens it in a program like an orange traffic cone as an icon (I'm so sorry I'm so vague but it's on the home lappy that I was working on yesterday and am in work now, so I can't quite remember the name of the program) and I can play the video and rotate it and stuff, but I can't save it then.
I'm wondering if it's a lost cause that Apple are being awkward so and so's only letting you work on istuff from a mac computer?

ooh that's the one Saz! We're getting closer to the crux of it all, please don't go anywhere
Now, I have that program, and you'll see it has all the video editing options etc, but it doesn't have any save options? It has a 'convert/save' thingy, and I did try that but it didn't work.
