Whadya think? Is it ok for a girl or a boy? I really like it but not sure if it's ok for both.

Sounds okay for either sex.
Unless of course Prince is under it singing..
Wish I had one
NO NO NO if you stick a baby in a purple pram you will cause it untold mental damage.
honestly, it will be in therapy for years.

With my first I had a turquoise, purple and white pram it was the dogs bollocks of prams.
Nobody ever said nothing about my son looking abnormal in it.
go for it

Did Lorraine show you how to unfold it?

Hubby quited liked the idea of that one till she got her paws on it.
If you like it, that's all that matters. I think it's fine for either sex. Baby wont mind the colour so long as its comfortable
When I read the thread title I though "ooh no... not purple"
But then saw the pics and its really cool actually Queenie... go for it!

Yes, it's lovely Queen Whether it's a boy or a girl doesn't matter. Go for it. I would

I'm a bit of a purple fan anyway but I'm aware that it's one of those colours you either love or hate and I'm not sure if people would think it's a bit girly or boho - like me. I love this pram but it's not officially on sale till next month. I thought I could put black footmuff and cozy pad in for a boy or baby pink/cream for a girl. I just don't want people looking at my baby in a purple pram and thinking urgh! and that I should be locked up for child abuse.
Looks good, better than boring navy/Black etc.
I think it looks a bit girly, tbh, but my son would love it

LOL, people won't think that People will probably look and think 'unusual color for a pram - nice though.'
Thanks everyone, I think I'll go for it. I'll just have to hope Mo doesn't phone Childline on me.
I've just bought 2 big purple sofas, so I think you could guess what my answer is. Erm, but incase you can't - yep, love it, would buy it if I was preggers

Yes, but as a fellow purple fan, your opinion still matters greatly.

It's an i-Candy Cherry in Mulberry. It's a newish British make. A bit of a yummy mummy one which I didn't think I'd go for but it's really small and lightweight so perfect for lil old me. Trouble is they don't have many distributors so they're really hard to get hold of. Fingers crossed that I can get one now.
I think it's lovely Queenie
I have heard from other Mummies that it is quite difficult to fold especially one handed (which is hard when juggling a baba) and it's rubbish offroad.
I'm not trying to be annoying , just what other Mums have commented on through experience.
Personally I think it's fabulous although I swear by silver cross

Unfortunately I don't have any baba's but I do love Silver Cross.Something very comforting about them.
Oh I disagree supercali!
I have a black and pink buggy for my little one and I dress her in black quite a lot too. She looks adorable

Oh yes I agree. I felt my little ones back was all supported and she looked so comfy. It's a classic and had been used for years.

Agree to disagree! Like babies in 'beby' colours!

I have a friend who is similar , baby only ever wear baby blue
I'm only 23 though and I like to think I'm quite trendy
When I bought my prams, I had no idea what sex they were going to be so I bought whatever I fancied regardless of sex.
They were both Mamas and Papas....first one was navy with white daisies. The second was royal blue and orange.

Can't have a Silver Cross because they won't fit in my car boot. The new travel system one doesn't have a carry cot either which I really wanted as I'm getting a baby hammock not a moses basket or crib, and the carry cot. I know there are problems with the i-Candy Apple because they are really bulky, but overall I've only read good reviews about the Cherry and I spoke to a mum who was using one while we were in John Lewis and she was really pleased with hers and she said her friends were too. Honestly, I cannot believe how complicated pram buying is these days.
You are right Queenie , it's so difficult.
Buying anything for a baby is difficult and you will always have your critics. But what doesn't work for someone will be perfect for someone else.
Go with what you fancy , after all you will only ever have a first baby once (don't know if that makes sense) even if you ever have another one , you won't have to start from scratch
My silvercross was huge and didn't fit in the car either but I can't drive so I used it for walking and whenever we went by car (rarely) I had another one I'm a pram slut
