We used to have Punks Picnics in the summer....the first one of the 'season' was always Newcastle and the last one was always Blyth and it was always on or near my birthday.

i was too young at the time but my brother who's a lot older than me was right in there, so i grew up with SLF, buzzcocks, clash etc. belting through the walls
by the time i hit my mid teens things had mellowed into the cure, the bunnymen, souxie...and i became the only goth in the village
