My 7 year old has pulled a muscle in his neck and can't move his head without crying about the pain Frowner My OH has gone to work and has taken my mobile (don't have a landline) so I'm not able to ring the doc till he gets back....should I just wait or take the little one to A&E?? I doubt they'd be able to do much but he's so upset I don't know what to do to ease it for him. Any ideas?

I would take him to A&E, at least they will give him medication to ease the pain, and check it out to make sure he's done no serious damage to his neck. I hope he gets better soon Frowner

Just been in contact with my mum who (thankfully) was in town and went to Boots. The pharmacist told her he should just rest his neck and take some kids ibuprofen so she's on her way up here with that.

Now the 3 year old is laid up on the other sofa saying the 'mukkles' on his head are sore too Roll Eyes Laugh
