Doctor Who!  But David leaves and the new Doctor regenerates.  It's supposed to be a tearjerker too.

I used to only like the vicar of dibley xmas special. wish they still did that. then of course there is the annual death to look forward to on eastenders.

Dr Who as the Master is in it   I'm also looking forward to the new Cranford double bill but the thing I am most looking forward to is The Gruffalo  (I know it's for children but it's one of my favourite stories)

one thing i am really excited about seeing this xmas (although its not on telly) is the new 3D christmas carol It looks fab.

My daughter and her boyfriend saw it last night and reckons it was brilliant - I really want to see it too! I'm going with hubby this week in fact - despite the 'expense'. 

My husband told me that there is a remake of the Christmas Carol on the BBC with Catherine Tate's Nan as Scrooge.  That might be fun to watch.

I've never ever 'got' Doctor Who - I guess it's like 'Marmite' - I love 'Veggiemite ' tho'? The advertised effects are good tho'.

I used to love the Only Fools and Horses christmas specials the BBC used to do, shame they don't play any old episodes any more, although there is Watch etc to do that now.


There is that spin offf show next year with Rodney to look forward to.

I'm having problems quoting Suzie -  but I'll  look out for that!

I wanted to follow 'Cranford' but circumstances interrupted my viewing , so I guess it'll be a DVD job as the series is right up my street!

Me too - a 'Christmas Special' even- however, I'm so grateful for the RF - I too, wish OFAH had more 'Christmas Specials' - I've just got into 'Ever decreasing Circles' and I'm loving that too -

I don't really look forward to Chrimbo shows as such, because I never get to see much TV over chrimbo.  But I do look forward to the movies, this year in particular I can't wait for Its a Wonderful Life and Santa Claus The Movie

I always used to look forward to Top of the Pops on Christmas Day, though I remember it always used to coincide with doing the washing up.

Plus Shrek 3, Ratatouille, & Take That's The Circus tour,

Sorry, I'm still having trouble 'quoting' barney - but like you, I too have been 'disappointed' by the RF extras - as I said in an earlier response, I wish they hadn't killed off 'Nana' there was so much more they could have done with Cheryl & Twiggy's 'romance' and the birth of the grandchildren, Denise's second pregnancy to name but a few - a series that could have gone a little further imo.
