I use GOSH liquid eyeliner- its so waterproof it says on in the shower (perfectly), and the brush is nice and thin so quite easy to apply. My best trick is cotton buds as well..a tiny mistake cleared up without having to redo the entire eye.
And I had a mascara from Clinque, that was amazing, no clumps, and really made my lashes look longer.

Its only available in superdrug I think.
It is a really good brand though if you want long stay make up.

And use a pencil eyeliner first, its easier to smudge into a straight line and gives a good outline to use

I'm a Redken gal.. so I'm a little prejudice.
But if you want a good clarifying shampoo (and if you live in bliddy London it is a must to get the tube gunk out of your hair) then this is a gem. It removes product build up and/or gunk and grime without making your hair feel like it is stripped of all goodness.
A cheaper alternative is Trevor Sorbie's 'Detox' shampoo but I've not seen that in the shops for an age.

) but my black mascara is Barry M...its really good for not smudging unless you are proper rubbing your eyes.My main tip would be to make sure the skin around your eyes is oil free too, I know my mum makes the mistake of using all these product on her eyes, but by the time she applies make up it just slips off. I'm a fan of the Soap and Glory Righteous body butter.
I get most of my stuff from Avon. At the moment I'm using Colour Trend plump out mascara. I also love Benefit stuff.
I've just started using Boots no 7 Protect and Perfect Intense serum. It seems to be working (no wrinkles yet)

I have always used Johnsons baby lotion to clean my make up off at night (and clean before make up in the morning). L'oreal night and day face creams are lush and give you a nice glow (the day cream gives a nice base for your foundation aswell)

Love their olive oil moisturiser too...its pure heaven.

Cheers Trix - I do have really dry skin and I use loads of moisturiser. I do try to avoid the eye area though, but I think I mustn't blot it properly. Will pay more attention!
