 I think it is what options you ticked for each line as to who can see or not

Yes, it's where you set options for who can view your site.Anything less than 'WORLD' will prevent some or all people from seing your site/profile/summary.

That's interesting stoory. How stupid I am. I knew I didn;t have many boxes ticked, but I was thinking that everybody who checked would be able to see what I saw.
Of course I can see it - it's my profile after all.
But now you have told me it is showing "private" stoory I understand.
I feel pretty stupid now.

You're out and about on the forum quite a lot , and i realize that I don't know anything about you.........which  part of the country you come from, and at one point whether you were male , or female?
I'm convinced you're female, but you don't give a lot away about yourself.

I suppose it's a bit silly of me really to be a bit secretive.

2 or 3 years ago I had an unpleasant experience from a few trolls who used my profile details as ammunition and to mock, - and I have been wary since then.

(Even my Facebook security is so tight that hardly anybody can get to me..  - which rather defeats the object doesn't it?)

Nothing wrong with being enigmatic though, some folk reveal far too much of themselves.........Its up to everyone how much , or how little they want to tell.
