I like it, however... BB is dead for me.

They had a chance to bring it back and they f*cked it up by announcing that there would be no live feed.

TBH, not all the C4 eyes were great, and I was never that keen on the CBB eyes at all.

As for this one: I somehow got the idea that C5 were going to use a real camera lens (i.e. a photo image), but this is... not good.

Had a look at the comments under the announcement, and they're overwhelmingly negative! (I think the most telling is the one-word response "Clipart"... )

I really, really don't want to get all negative before the show actually launches, but my expectations for the C5 reboot were pretty low to start with, and they haven't risen at all so far...

I hardly know anything about Twitter, but I've been having a go over the last couple of days and I replied to one of Emma Willis' tweets to say congrats to her and Marcus - and he tweeted me back to thank me.   I think he did it with every single person who congratulated him - I was so impressed that he bothered.

hoochie how  lovely he personally took the trouble to answer yourself and everyone who congratulated him,I love his voice on BB it would not be the same without him..

I don't really care what the eye looks like tbh - am I weird?    I'm looking forward to the show - now I know Marcus is still doing the voice.   I think losing him would be the only thing that I really would have been disappointed about.   (I'm trying not to think to much about Brian Dowling)

well ......... as long as the actual programme itself  lives up to expectations, then it should  be ok ............ I doubt any of it is going to live up to the standard of the Channel 4 version if I am being honest .... but we'll see.

They always said the clues were somewhere in the BB eye logo perhaps that is the clue with this one as it is very plain and basic ..maybe this year it will be more  like BB1 and go back to basics ..just a thought as there is no other explanation I can think of with the BB Eye they have chosen

Can't get into this BB at all.. 

I'll watch any old reality show but BB is the only one I have always watched 'Live' so, where I can stand the editing on other reality HL shows, I'd hate to only have that for BB and no live feed..

Just isn't BB for me at all without being able to have them on in the background and have a rough idea what is going on and seeing the way things are edited for HL shows... may as well be any of the other shows out there.. it's deifnitely not BB tho

Reminds me a bit of A Clockwork Orange and the eye of the 2001 HAL computer, it evokes the imagery rather than being like any specific promotional artwork

A bit different to the general theme of the C4 logos.  It had to be a bit of a departure for C5 to put a bit of their identity on it. I quite like it, it's suggestive of authoritarianism with with a hint of softness - a bit like Big Brother in the book.
