DO you ever arrive 'safe and well'
Or just 'safe . . . and well, we'll see where we are this time' ?

Fluffy suggested that you might have accidentally clicked on toggle WYSIWYG. If you had, you would go to the HTML source editor screen which is text only and has no icons.
If that is the case, click on Cancel at the bottom right of the screen and you get back to the normal Post Reply box.
Aimee, if the screen looks like this, then it's the HTML source editor rather than the Post Reply box. I've put an arrow to the cancel box which is shaded pink.
Have you make clicked on 'TOGGLE WYSIWYG" by accident?
Aimee, you do know that greenhouses have glass walls, so everybody can see you in there?

That suggests there is something with your internet browser which is causing that to happen, I'm not aware of anyone else with the same problem. My normal answer to that is to try clearing your browser cache to see if that helps. If that doesn't try a different browser to see if that works.
Just popped in to see if Aimee's problems had been resolved.
Doesn't look like it....yet!
Silk is the name of Amazon's browser for the Kindle. Do you have any other browser you can try?
Hmmm...not sure what to suggest as I have no direct knowledge of the kindle.
I believe it doubles as an Android tablet. Do you know how to check what apps might be loaded on it?

Settings....Application Manager, Aims if it's Android
Aimee, you may want to post about the problem on the Social Strata help forum. There is a thread there on issues with using Kindles so that seems a good thread to post to. Your problem does not seem to have been reported so far.

I see on that thread that the WYSIWYG screen has been disabled for Kindle users so my posts yesterday about the HTML source editor aren't relevant.

Try refreshing the page. It's often just a glich....and a simple refresh clears it....most of the time.

I've tried a few times Fluffs and the same message keeps coming up
It was a photo I was trying to copy and paste, I've attached it and uploaded it and its worked Fluffs, I've never had that problem before
Ahh....sometimes 'straightforward' copying and pasting can pick up extra bits of coding which can't be interpreted or worked round by some browsers and so they just give this generic error.

it took my brain about an hour to work it out Fluffs, I got there eventually
