I found the ITV coverage really really shocking

Thanks for the warning, I won't watch, just from what I've picked up without watching the news it's just so barbaric. How his family will be able to find a way of living with this is extremely hard to imagine. To the public it's a story that will leave the screens and papers, to them it's a much loved family member lost to them forever.

I agree, I find in these kind of stories the news channels go to far in getting every little bit of details they can when it's not really necessary, we get the picture let's  not put the families through it

Ironic that they were probably relieved that he wasn't out serving in Afghanistan

Just saw that . They;re gloating at the amount of messages they've had, since this " unfortunate incident" they called it. I hope they're dispersed. this is such a bad idea.

Someone was boasting about that in the shop my friend works in (Nottingham) a couple of days ago... proper dancing around rubbing his hands together all excited.... My friend is married to an indian man and has three children... They guy was like 'Oh i wouldnt beat up you're husband he's not a paki' to which my friend replied 'How would you know the difference?'

Shocking that he was so openly excited about it!!
