He seems to be proper down in the dumps lately, I'm not sure he last the course and it would be a shame
As I have just said in another thread, Ben really does need to stand up for himself and confront ALL of the culprits together, and not speak to people one on one. I notice that the sods dont throw things at Corin when she's trying to sleep. Seems they are purposely targetting Ben

She's thick as two short planks. She thinks having a go at the common enemy (Ben) she's in with the cool gang. How childish! Hope someone tells her to get lost - and soon!
He really should have got a La Toya bedroom.

I thought he looked down. I'm sure he will last the course though.
Ben really needs to grow a pair and stop trying to be so polite about it all. What he needs is a major blow up at the lot of them.....that'll probably shock them into silence. As for *Little Miss Foghorn*...stfu and eff orf!

Rachel must be one of the lucky people who can put off having a decent night's sleep for a possible 3 months.Reference:

Ben has said that his inability to cope with the housemates' loud bedtime activity could force him to leave the house.
Waking after his early morning fight with Rachel over the amount of noise she and other members of the group were making in the bedroom last night, Ben explained to Corin and David his fear that he is starting to anger others with his need for nighttime silence.
"I go, 'can you please pipe down' and [Rachel] gets upset," he said. "Weâre all trying to have an early night âcos weâre all knackered and then she gets upset and leaves and goes back in my bed and now everybody thinks I'm the bad guy.
"Everyone's now going to see this grumpy, miserable side that isnât me, but I can't go on with people being inconsiderate, it isn't fair."
Corin comforted the visibly upset writer and broadcaster with a hug and her assurance that nobody was angry at him for wanting some rest. David, however, was less sympathetic, arguing that the other housemates fell asleep at a reasonable time last night and reminding Ben that he couldn't expect complete peace in the Big Brother house.
Speaking to John James later, Ben revealed that he is prepared to walk out the house if the problems at bedtime do not get resolved. "Everyone was moaning about being tired during the day, so why wont they let me sleep at night," he said. "I just donât understand. Why do people have to talk at that time?"
He added: "I'm not going to be able to manage this, Johnny, 'cos I'm gonna start annoying everyone elseâĶ Another few days like this and Iâm gonna go âcos it's just not worth it."

It's not surprising he is down in the dumps with that lot nit picking at him 24/7. It would get anyone down. Unfortunately, he doesn't seem to have the temperment to really get them told, which is why they do it cos they know they can get away with it.

So, we're clear that he knows it is Rachel's bed he's in, then?
and ben tells jj exactly what jj wanted to hear, watch jj continue with the night time nosie. it was jj throwing pillows last night and that tiny ball he has round the room last night.
ive said for a week or more now, jj told dave he can get ben to walk and they both laughed.

I hope Dave realises that when he goes home (please God make this sooner rather than later), his kids won't take a blind bit of notice of him if he tells them off for making noise when they should be sleeping. A brilliant example to them is he not?Reference:

No surprise there then......! I hope to goodness we get a chance to evict him soon, cos I reckon once he is up, he will go!Reference:

of course it was....never anyone else's fault around these partssorry kaytee as i said above dave threw the first pillow.
I feel dead sorry for Ben over this lack of sleep situation. I wish Ben would stick up for himself more, but it is not in his temperment to do that. If he did though, I expect they would bitch about that too. Poor man cannot win.

Sleep deprivation is awful and it must be doubly worse locked in a house with a bunch of inconsiderate people. There is no escape.
I've said it before, but if I couldn't sleep in there (and Steve's snoring would ensure that, on its own) I'd take my quilt and go sleep in the snug.
And if BB didn't like it, I'd say tough. If the whole house got punished for my rule-break, I'd just shrug tell them it was their own fault and they should either STFU or take it outside the bedroom.

I think I would do the same. I actually think BB wants them to be deprived of sleep as it causes arguments and we all know how much BB likes them in the house.

You're right it is. I know what I am like if I don't get a good nights sleep. After a period of time, it drains you and has awful physical and mental effects.
anyone remember derek laud going thru the same thing in bb6>?

that sounds like the most sensible thing to do.. cos in all fairness no matter what time Ben went to bed he'd moan if anybody, that wasn't right up by his ear talking to him directly, made a noise.. he was happy to chat away to Rachel last night until he was ready to go to sleep. .thing is with Ben he won't approach a problem head on he'll approach every one on a one to one basis,.sometimes sneakily and then change the name of the culprits depending upon who he is talking to.. he won't do the sit down meeting. .he prefers others to do his dirty work for him so he doesn't appear as the baddy. .He asked Dave last time but in all fairness I think Dave is fed up of the house revolving around Ben too..
Don't get me wrong I would hate to be sleep deprived too. .and I know on occasions some of them are doing things on purpose which is horrible but in there unless it's working to Bens rules and Ben's way's he ain't happy and doesn't give a thought to how the others may like it to be for them..
he had almost 9 hours sleep last night from the time they all dropped off to the Alarm going off this morning.. I think Ben isn't happy unless Ben has something to moan about
I know he researched the show before he went in.. he can't blame ignorance about not knowing what he was going into.. too desperate to get his career forwarded, the same as all of those in there.. he probably hate the fact he actually is a wannabe..

Yes I do.
I remember Kemal wearily wondering aloud 'how long this ordeal is going to go on' when Maxwell and Saskia were going hot and heavy one night.
Cue an angry glass of water and the immortal line: 'At least someone got wet tonight, even if it wasn't Saskia'

According to Ben, he didn't sleep well, Olly, because he felt so guilty about taking Rachel's bed!

the lads got audacity that's for sure.. sometimes when he does some of his nasty/sneaky stuff he has that look on his face of the angel faced boy that thieves from the corner shop and is finally caught out.. they hope their sweet smile will get em out of trouble but once in a blue moon they actually do have to fess up and take what is due to them and boy do they sulk.. it's the 'ok yeah I am guilty yet still sulky' face that reminds me of Ben most of the time..
