I had a big packet of mince in the freezer that needed used up so I decided to be brave and make a lasagne  To say I effed it up would be an understatement!  Well I think I've ruined it anyway

The mince part was fine......cooked it up with some peppers, mushrooms, onions and herbs and dumped in a jar of ragu and a tin of tomatoes (had both and also had passata but decided to go for ragu coz i like the taste)  all good, cooked fine, the smoke alarm didn't go off so that was a bonus.  Then I go to find my oven tins and remember that I threw them all out a few weeks ago and needed to buy more.  A pyrex dish will be ok won't it?  Except that it's round and the lasagne sheets are rectangle.   Anyway I put the meat mix in the bottom of the dish then pasta sheets then I stupidly put a layer of white sauce on  I thought thats what I was supposed to do until I remembered it was meat pasta meat pasta etc

So I've got it in the oven cooking now and am worried about how bad it's going to be

It was bliddy lovely

Rawky my first attempt was vile.....I tried it about  year ago and it was wrong from start to finish but you just have to try again.  Most of my cooking is rotten first time, which is bad coz the kids aren't happy to taste it again but luckily enough time went past for the eldest to have forgotten.

Got loads left over too so will freeze it up and have it another day!
