That is bad!!

Lucky for the cat though it was only the tail....my mum once found a bag of dead skinned cats dumped near where she lived (well one of the dogs found it)

Croc it makes me ill this sort of cruelty. The good news is that the cat got it's tail amputated and is doing fine

When she sent it I grabbed my babies (cats) and sobbed

Some sickos took a family cat and skinned it's tail. Poor thing must have been petrified and in excruciating pain.

That is terrible! How can people be so cruel? I have a cat myself and would be devastated if something like that happened.

Thought it was something like that, Cags. Glad I didn't look. Kids & animal abuse - gets me every time mainly because they have no understanding of why people do these things to them.

A couple of hours' worth of undivided attention would about right for feckers like these

2 anonymous people have put up a reward to catch the ones who did it. I'm tempted to do it too

I feel I have to look at things like this. I peacefully campaign to stop animal cruelty but if I ever got my hands on someone who did something like this I think I'd kill them. I know that's a contradiction

Awww, Cags, I know And I'm glad you did post it in a way. But when I see or hear about stuff like this hapening to animals or, worse, wee babies. My heart breaks a little.

I can't stop myself from imagining not just the pain they endure, but also the terror, confusion and total lack of understanding as to WHY this is happening to them.
