The question you have to ask yourself is whether you want to Sign-in to the OPTIONAL EXTRAS that are on offer? They are not obligatory and you can keep to the forum only if you wish.

Im thinking that the majority of us will stay in the forum bit..........at least until we gain a bit more confidence in there

Don't know how I'm going to get on. I don't adapt well to change, and I love the way THIS forum is, so don't know how well I'll settle in one not so user-friendly as this.

No Shar, I did that, used another name for registering but then it said I was under 14 years old so I cannot join.

I'll try but I can't always manage to log in as it doesn't always recognise my password.
The one time that I did make a tentative comment on a thread it sent me an e mail every time someone posted on it (even though I changed my preferences to stop it)
I don't know if its stopped because the thread has disappeared or because my changes in preferences has taken effect as I haven't been over to check.

try navigating about by clicking n 'ticker' then 'my alerts' and then replies and comments.

not by the right hand panel as it's not updating, but is being fixed.

i used ticker and found your post, mine and Z's.

BB I was just in a thread where it said Replies 41 but could only see 2. I clicked on the word "previous" beside where it says Replies and it opened the whole thread.

I certainly have NO interest in any of the others,
I knew that this years BB would be a farce, no live feed, the closing of the c4 forums was OBVIOUSLY done to give channel 4 more control over what we see, and to ensure there would NOT be any repeat of "goodie gate" or spit gate or N word gate etc,
so as this BB nears its end, I see little point in bothering to move to yet another home,
for me it will be a case of so long and thanks for all the fish,

No, you are wrong and wrong. I had to register because my username was taken back in 2007 by someone else.

You are wrong about incompatability in systems. There were all sorts of reasons why I had problems but none of them were anything to do with incompatability in system.

Thanks Jackson. I doubt I will be able to remember that though as I have severe short term memory loss so using this new black cloud place will cause me endless problems if it doesn't work like the vast majority of forums. Time will tell however. Thanks for those instructions though.

It is a shame that some folk will not be moving to our new home, as I have grown to like them and enjoy posting with them. I hope the majority of posters make it over there though
