This poll is NOT about who you may have thought should have stayed, but was it the result you were getting prepared to hear?

Completely shocked
Although I wanted Fred to stay, It was nice not knowing and then getting such a surprise!! I was so sure Marcus was a gonner!
its a shame that it was fred V marcus, cos i wanted marcus to stay but i didnt want to see the look of victory on lisa and beas faces if fred went
and didnt the pair of them look so pleased
did that make sense

in a way i was expecting it! its the start of the back lash! Marcus is hated by bb and keeping him in ! and maybe him winning will stuck it up bb's nose! lets face it everyone in there are now the nastiest house mates ever Lisa , Bea , charlie , David etc a bunch of really hated people! bb should just switch off the cameras and brick up the doors leaving them all too it! bb has already died just no one has bothered to tell them
Even though I thought he would go, it was still a huge shock to hear his name being called out. I am not ashamed to say, that I shed a tear or two
Wasnt expecting that result i was gutted.....Especally since there was a spoiler saying Marcus had left
Sorry poll got reset, I had to edit the first post. If you voted before the time of the edit (09:31 AM) you will have to vote again.
I was completely shocked, I honestly thought Marcus would go. I screamed No when Freddie's name was called out (I was assured by DH that this was painful to the ears) and then had a good cry.
Especially when he said he was a fox. That felt a bit personal even though I know it wasn't.

I was completely shocked and relieved `cos I had geared myself up for Marcus going. I wanted Marcus to stay but the odds seem to be saying otherwise - so it was a very pleasant shocking surprise.
It just shows you can't just take betting odds at face value particularly in a closer contest where things are changing, or maybe were several HMs are up as well sometimes. I was ridiculed by someone here for saying that people are too obsessed by betting odds, and someone else laughed at me, but I think this result partly proves my point.

I agree. I rely heavily on the odds because they tend to be pretty reliable but I never take them for gospel - the other particular incident I remember is Anthony beating Eugene which also bucked the odds.
I wasn't entirely shocked. I hated Marcus for weeks, but then warmed to his ways and he became a lovable wanker. I figured if I could warm to him, anyone could, so therefore he had every chance of being saved.
I'm sad to lose Freddie as a HM, liked him all the way along, but it was NOT pleasant viewing to see that Bea creature reduce the man to a wreck, and I'm happy for him that he is now free from her evil clutches and nonsensical attacks.
Long live the Fredster!!!

I was shocked as the odds and boo's seemed to point towards it being Marcus but I preferred Marcus to stay so its all good but I was like WTF???
Marcus to win I think
Marcus to win I think
Slightly surprised at the result. I predicted he'd be evicted this week at the beginning of the week, but then changed my mind after looking at the betting odds.
Need to stick with my gut instinct I guess

I was shocked but happy his name was called out... The nastiness would have gotten worse...
I was kinda expecting it.. though I knew it would be close.
I think Freddie made a few mistakes over the past week or two and Marcus got back to pre-Noirin vibe. I think the nail in the coffin for Freddie was when noms were announced and he said well that's Marcus going home then.. he'd started to believe his own press a little and it had started to come off as cocky rather than confident. I think if he had been a little more like he was earlier in the series (quietly confident and rising above it) he would have stayed.

I agree with you, he believed the hype....quote:Originally posted by tupps:

Polls on here had given an almost identical result so I was beginning to get geared up for it but still hoped Freddie would stay. Then that spoiler - well! Thrilled and dejected within the space of ten seconds. That was actually the worst bit.
Copletely shocked and very disappointed. Even broke my never vote rule to save Freddie.
devastated to lose freddie.
Completely shocked thought Freddie was going to be in there till the end

i didnt realise fred said that!
no wonder he went then
Slightly suprised, but it was obvious on the various forums that the anti- Freddie vote was going to be almost as strong as the Pro-Marcus vote, so I was'nt totally shocked!
Nope, I had only said about ten minutes earlier it was too close to call, wasnt suprised one bit. The only thing that did suprise me was the Mr Paparazzi spoiler who got it wrong. Marcus to me won it on wednesday night with his handling of Bea, Freddie lost it with all his cockiness saying he would stay, also when he goaded Lisa last week did not help his cause. He brought himself down to their level and that's the thing people were keeping him in for, he had the ability to rise above it, I think that was his downfall.
Gobsmacked. Pleased Marcus stayed though.
I wasn't surprised, as I thought it would be very close, for the reason that I'm sure many Freddie fans are Marcus fans and vice versa, therefore wouldn't vote for either.
Shocked and gutted wanted Marcus out.
Completly shocked but very happy
Huge shock... I wanted Marcus to stay, but was preparing myself for him to be a gonner.
It took a few seconds for it to sink in when his name wasn't called.

The other part is that the bookies are usually correct on BB matters.

That's because normally everyone - including us - has a very good idea who is going because it isn't close. Nothing specific to the bookies at all. When it is closer the bookies are just guessing like we are. The last two weeks they have been doing alot of guessing.
I was just plain gutted and still am!
I felt more disgusted, that the public choose a perverted stalker who talks to woman in, well we all know Marcus's choice of words.
But there you go, still 53% of the vote, it still means 47% hopefully will prefer other hm's.

Looks like most people had a big shock and believed too many of the polls/bookies.

I was surprised - I was fully expecting Marcus to go.
I voted out Marcus loads and it was a shock.

Was kind of expecting it because of the polls on here which suggested that Freddie would get the most votes by a whisker
Totally in shock. Horrified infact.
I don't resent Marcus staying though. It was always going to be a shitty result this week.
