in a way i was expecting it! its the start of the back lash! Marcus is hated by bb and keeping him in ! and maybe him winning will stuck it up bb's nose! lets face it everyone in there are now the nastiest house mates ever Lisa , Bea , charlie , David etc a bunch of really hated people! bb should just switch off the cameras and brick up the doors leaving them all too it! bb has already died just no one has bothered to tell them

It just shows you can't just take betting odds at face value particularly in a closer contest where things are changing, or maybe were several HMs are up as well sometimes. I was ridiculed by someone here for saying that people are too obsessed by betting odds, and someone else laughed at me, but I think this result partly proves my point.

I agree. I rely heavily on the odds because they tend to be pretty reliable but I never take them for gospel - the other particular incident I remember is Anthony beating Eugene which also bucked the odds.

I wasn't entirely shocked. I hated Marcus for weeks, but then warmed to his ways and he became a lovable wanker. I figured if I could warm to him, anyone could, so therefore he had every chance of being saved.

I'm sad to lose Freddie as a HM, liked him all the way along, but it was NOT pleasant viewing to see that Bea creature reduce the man to a wreck, and I'm happy for him that he is now free from her evil clutches and nonsensical attacks.

Long live the Fredster!!!

I was kinda expecting it.. though I knew it would be close.

I think Freddie made a few mistakes over the past week or two and Marcus got back to pre-Noirin vibe. I think the nail in the coffin for Freddie was when noms were announced and he said well that's Marcus going home then.. he'd started to believe his own press a little and it had started to come off as cocky rather than confident. I think if he had been a little more like he was earlier in the series (quietly confident and rising above it) he would have stayed.

Nope, I had only said about ten minutes earlier it was too close to call, wasnt suprised one bit. The only thing that did suprise me was the Mr Paparazzi spoiler who got it wrong. Marcus to me won it on wednesday night with his handling of Bea, Freddie lost it with all his cockiness saying he would stay, also when he goaded Lisa last week did not help his cause. He brought himself down to their level and that's the thing people were keeping him in for, he had the ability to rise above it, I think that was his downfall.

The other part is that the bookies are usually correct on BB matters.

That's because normally everyone - including us - has a very good idea who is going because it isn't close. Nothing specific to the bookies at all. When it is closer the bookies are just guessing like we are. The last two weeks they have been doing alot of guessing.
