I didn't know who some of them are so it could be they're not funny but I wouldn't know!!

I used to like Jo Brand but she's been doing the same routine for 25 years and it's old now. I much prefer her when she is being serious or topical rather than the old men/fat/ugly jokes.

I can't believe that people don't find Michael McIntyre funny, he cracks me up

Quite an interesting example... At his best he has me laughing fit to bust, but I don't like his extreme stuff. His recent reviews have been dreadful and it sounds like he has had enough of comedy, and the punters have had enough of him.
He got booed off stage for cheap jokes about a Down,s Syndrome lad. he really crossed the line there.....

Not you as well Saz! Mind you, I'm with you on Ricky Gervais. I loved the office and Extras but him as him leaves me cold. I think the bitter, egotistical, persona is actually him as he is. I look at him and see the kid at school that tried to hard to be mates with everyone while grassing you up to the teachers when he could.

I think way too much sometimes

I tend to agree with Champagne Joe, I find all of them funny but of that list I'd say Jo Brand's "Love cake: hate men" routine has worn the thinnest over the years - although she was surprisingly funny on "Have I got news for you" a few weeks ago.  Sarah Millican's 1980s style routine is embarrassing unfunny and stilted at times.

The least funny aren't in the list.  Leigh Francis' Keith Lemon character is as annoying as it is unfunny and as Rufus Hound said recently of Peter Kay - he's good at 'remembering things'.  A spot on summary of Kay's dire homely routine.

Oh and a special life time achievement for Barry Humphries, a 40 year 'comedy' career out of two clichÃĐd characters, neither of which are funny - the boring drag act that is Dame Edna and the clichÃĐd uncouth Australian, Sir Les Patterson.
