I'd never heard of him but no surprise as I don't keep up these days with who's who in Politics. It's not right how he spoke to the officers who are there to protect him and his kind. I briefly watched a programme the other night where a policeman was being sworn at by some youngsters and the officer warned them they could be arrested for that. They continued swearing and taunting him but I didn't wait to see what happened and switched over as it's disheartening to see how some people behave.

If the only way Politicians will understand what the majority of the public expect from them, politically and personally, is for Politicians to become accountable for their actions, whatever they are, just like anyone else, they're no more special than anyone else.

There's nothing 'being in it together', as he said: do you know who I am? I didn't until this and, what's more, I couldn't give a flying monkee's. Politicians should be much more accountable now. There might be more important things around, but if this Government doesn't change, society will go down again as it did in the '80s and '90s.

I agree. His nickname was "Thrasher" which sort of tells you something. He comes across like a bullying arrogant snob.
