I can't vote on the app either, but those threads are active when the shows in question are on, so I vote to leave them be

I voted to drop Dallas and Dr Who if it is thought we need to drop any - they arnt very active

I voted to get rid of the Dr who thread - the others are quite popular - SCD doesn't start until a couple of weeks and will be well posted in when it does start

Not too sure Baz. It just seemed as though they weren't getting as much use as I'd expected(apart from Strictly, which hasn't really started yet) and wondered if they might actually be annoying to some.

I don't mind if the three threads are stickied, but if room is a problem, I'd move Dallas and Dr Who. Maybe they could be dropped into the main forum and people could bump the threads when they want to add a comment.

Strictly live shows haven't started yet but it is usually a busy thread, so I'd keep it stickied.

There's loads of threads for different shows that get bumped each time the show is on...  there's far too many stickies, drop them all..

I don't mind them, but if they are not getting used drop them...I still don't know why we still have the Mods Sticky, it's been months now and you're all doing a grand job 

EFFT ... Would it not be a good idea to ask the people who actually post in the threads if they were happy to have them unstickied ? It would be a shame to lose postings just cos people had to search back a couple of pages to find the thread

I unstickied some of the older non-tv show topics.

I think the Dallas and Dr Who threads could be unstickied.   I like to talk about 'live' shows such as X Factor and Strictly while they're on - I'd like those threads to remain stickied, but other shows I often record and watch later.  We can always post about them in the main forum if we want to.  Just my take.

 

EDIT... it doesn't bother me that they're stickied, but they're obviously annoying to some so that ^^ is my compromise suggestion.

 

Doctor Who is the only programme I'm watching at the moment (I've given up on Dallas...but I'm keeping my avatar cos it makes me look well 'ard. ) so I like there being a sticky thread for it.

I agree about the Mod sticky ,we no longer need it .Drop DR Who and Dallas.

SCD will be used when the show starts so it needs to stay.

Not that bothered about the Dr Who and Dallas threads being stickied. 

I'm having difficulty watching Dr Who "live" at them moment anyway, but even if I did, I'd probably find I'd be concentrating too much to be able to post during it! 

I had expected the Dallas thread to be busy "in show", but I was practically the only one posting for most of last week's episode. I'm guessing most FMs who watch it are recording it...,

it's clashing with Mrs Biggs and something else I can't remember at the moment, so I'm recording it the next evening.

I watched last Wednesday's episode of Dallas on 5* today. Apart from finding out who sent the e-mail, I could have managed without the rest. Not sure if I'll be bothering with it anymore.

 

I too, had thought the Dallas thread would be really busy.

I don't mind whether they're there or not although I don't watch Dr. Who or Dallas - although my sister suggested I start watching Dallas as she thinks it's good...and she's fussy about what she watches lol.

 

Another way for me to look at it is some of us watch Corrie and/or EE but we don't have a stickie for them - and there's other soaps as well some watch. With soaps they are discussed on the main Forum if anyone wants to say something so the same could be for those who watch Dr. Who or Dallas.
