We have had a similar experience today with the GP.

Bizarrely, Ickle DOES have a virus and yet they gave her antibiotics!!   Your daughter has a bacterial infection and they give her nothing & tell her its a virus!!

TWISTED!!     <---- laughing cos if I don't I will cry!

she's 18 this year so i make her go to the doctors on her own now in case she wants to talk about anything without me being there, yet everytime she does they palm her off and then i march her back and they treat her properly

That's why she asked me to go in with her today...

I could see the GP thinking I was the one that had insisted on being there, & I told him I was happy to not be there, but that she wanted me there...  mainly cos she didn't want to forget anything (such as the sicknote she needed for work, & the possiblity of needing a sick certificate should she need to try & claim some sort of special circumstances with the exam board).

I still do freaky shit like that.  I am a terrible sleeper, but when I do eventually fall asleep I go deep really fast and sometimes scream (so I have been told), I've rearranged kitchens and also showered in my sleep.  The showering one worries me the most, because rational awake me thinks 'how the hell did the water not wake me up'?
