And another Fact, there has been 407 threads opened since April 28th, 357 have been lost on back pages because of the amount of threads started.
And if you look back on some of the earlier pages there was a few good threads, but of course they are lost if they go off the front page.
Why would you would think that "pointless" threads would be damaging to us? I'm not sure what started this, but I can tell you that if "pointless" threads were a bad thing, it would be in the rules. 
I WILL say that *I* thought that's what the Lounge was for. We don't have to be deep and meaningful all the time, do we?
And, surely "pointless" is in the eye of the beholder?

San's being silly Yeah, it's settled down a bit as we appear to have caught up a lot. We've just had an Ofstead audit and got the grade we needed otherwise we wouldn't have been able to bid for any more contracts and been out of a job.

Hi Lori.
I see you've OK'd the pointless thread idea, you don't think it's confusing then for anyone wishing to browse and join to see all these threads that appear day in day out with no real title and no-one has any idea what they are about until they enter the thread and then find out that the thread starter doesn't know what the thread is about either.
But if it's OK with you then I feel sorry for those who have threads open that keep going off page 1 because of these pointless threads.
I think Deep & meaningful is going a bit far, but opening threads for the sake of it still seem to come under the umbrella of the word pointless.
Unless of course you can think of a more suitable name.

If people were interested in posting on threads which have fallen off page one, then all they have to do is click on page two, post in the thread and, lo and behold, it will be back on page one until it next dies a death and falls off again.
I dont really understand why you are getting so stressy about something so stupid but the forum is for everyone to enjoy and to post where they like so long as it is within the rules.
