I think he just lives in the real world .....some of them have had priveleged up brinings or at the very least been supported by supportive parents.
I somehow get the impression he's fended for himself with little back up TBH. It's quite sad really but ..........he's just telling it as it is from his own stand point.

But it's a TV programme based on a fictional political state. When you agree to go on the show, you agree to abide by the show's rules.
TBH, I think that David's real problem is not with the rule-breaking, but the fact that the rule-breaking is not being properly punished.
If he didn't pay his Council Tax, he'd get punished, but when Marcus, Siavash or Sophie break the rules, everyone except the rule-breakers get punished.
Of course, what BB is trying to do is to encourage the HMs to sort things out for themselves, e.g. by guilt and peer-pressure. This is frequently BB's "default-position", and is admirable in theory. The problem is that, as with most of BB's high concepts, it usually proves to be a forlorn hope in practise...
i actually hope that silly tit Dave goes this week

I'd say he rates pretty highly on the emotional intelligence scale. Listening to him talking to Rodrigo the other night, he was impressive!
Plus he can be hilarious!
