Port - served warm with a clove studded lemon slice. Lovely at Christmas or on any cold Winter's night.

I've never made it or even tasted it.  Wonder if its as nice as they say  Must be warming on a cold night especially at Christmas.

But it's a liqueur, it's meant to be taken neat - in a small liqueur glass - which is even smaller than a sherry glass - and you generally only have one....after dinner.

My dad never drank except on birthdays, Christmas and New Year.. but he loved port at Christmas

Yes rosie, he loves it and the people, he`s made so many friends over there..he and his gf`s news, pics n`video updates are a delight...they`ve never been happier 

I do miss him..badly at times, it comes in waves.. but knowing he`s happy makes me happy. I`m saving up to see him next year...I`m determined to make it

No, Christmas won`t be the same without my wee-est boy but he`s happy which makes me happy and...I`ve just got Skype so the plan is to see him on Christmas day.. if I can I work out how it works...he`s sent instructions so hopefully this technophobe will be able to follow them 

My other boy, my eldest, who lives in France, turned up on my doorstep last night..what a lovely surprise!
