My dog has had toes amputated, all was going well until this week and now it's breaking down.
Does anyone know  where I can get boots for dogs from.?
This fungi which was originally thought to be chewing gum on pavements I feel is the cause of his problems. This is the second back paw to be affected. When he went in for the operation the vet said she had 5 dogs in with same problem that day.

If I can get some boots for his back paws when he's out walking,I'm sure we can avert any further problems. So please help me if you can.

A couple of years ago I saw a man taking his dog for a walk, but the dog had had his back pair of legs amputated. So the owner had made a little trolley for the dog to lie on with his front feet in front of the trolley, so he could still walk. The dog seemed to be very happy and didn't seem to notice the lack of his back legs. So although your dog may find the loss of paws awkward at first, he will soon adapt and be able to get around as happy as before.

They arrived this morning,I'm about to try them on him.I'll have to wait for my husband to come home it needs one to have him on their lap and the other to fit them on.When I tried on my own he looks like like he's walking on the the leg part of the boot and the foot part is sticking up.LOL.I'll let you know the result when I've fitted them properly. He doesn't seem put out by all the fiddling though which is  a good sign.
