Oh, and not so long ago they stopped doing my favourite pizza (tuna and prawn) 

 

But apart from that I'm ok 

on a serious note,

i use the local chippie who is indian, he makes what ever you want, the asian pizza people are usually cheaper and more relaxed about orders

Think it's £6 + for a Chinese round here. And she's a cheeky bitch.

 

Curries £7.50 plus.

 

No local pizza though.

 

For two I could just make that min. £12 go so much further.

I wouldn't care Donks. I don't buy one every week. Just every so often I can't be arsed to do food for myself so I think....pizza.

Prawn and thingfish pizzas are turtelly wrong.

That's not cool! Mr summer & I wanted different teas the other night so we ordered separately from different places, they both delivered our small orders. One of them charged £1 extra the other, £2- I'm happy to pay the extra if it means I don't have to go get my pizza!

I like yesterday's pizza, pop it in the fridge for tomorrow then microwave quickly with some beans. Mmmmmmmmmmmm.

 

But given your experience, I would not use them again. I don't stand for poor customer service even from businesses I have used for years.

I'm not using them again EC, or any others. Like I say I used that one cos it was the only one that does small 8 inch ones  I'd rather do without now.

That's a shame it was not up to the usual standard, maybe it was tainted by your experience. They do some decent frozen pizza's these days. Have you considered getting a couple in for when you fancy one?

i stopped ordering them in when i bought the Asda ones, theyre really nice, we just add extra stuff to them, jalepino's, cheese etc.. works out cheaper

mind you, an ordered pizza always tastes better

I can honestly say I always do my best to gobble down a 10 incher in one go.  But then again I'm greedy 

I think I'll have to do that EC, but that would mean making my mind up to have one that night, as I would have to get it out the freezer before I went to work 

 

Ah, well I am quite fortunate as I mostly know what my evening meal is going to be. But yes, you would need to defrost.

When I buy a Pizza I always get it cut into four slices I couldnt eat eight .

Jaysus I'd snatch their hand off for a fiver delivery, the on'y thing under a fiver in our takeaways is chips....

You can cook them from frozen.

I could get a chicken ball special delivered from the local chinese for £4.80

When we go over to England we live in resturants cos its so cheap there..Our chinese does'nt deliver but chicken ball special would be about €8..our Indian is 5 miles away and their minimum is about €15 or €18 if its below they charge you €5....

 

That's scandalous!  Luckily we have a chinese, chippy, pizza place and Indian all within a few minutes of us so we usually don't order it for delivery and just collect it instead but most of the other places are in town and it's only between £1.50 - £2.50 delivery charge and not many places make you place a large order....in fact there's only one that I can think of but then they rip the arse of their prices too.

 

We get loads of people up from over the border to do their shopping here aswell (we're on the border with donegal) as the prices seem to escalate the further south you go!

The one thing I think is scandalous in price is pizza! My niece and co sometimes order them and i'm like "Whit,£20.00 for a couple of pizzas!" It's dough,cheese and a few bits and bobs.

OK.. someone has to say it.    There can't be much eating in them?
