We all know that fashion has phases and trends and changes.
Victorian, Edwardian, flappers in the 1920s, rock and roll period, bell-bottoms, drainpipes,
teddy boys, dirndle skirts and layers of petticoats, hot pants.
But surely, surely we are now going through the all-time high in the world of fashion.
How could the current fashion be bettered?
It is startling, tasteful, exciting, it has flair and flare, it is exotic, sophisticated and classy.

Surely it cannot get more wonderful than this. Exquisite!

2 fashion moments if I may.
> I laughed at Miranda Hart in her recent comedy series chasing youffs across the park trying frantically to hoist up their pants above their buttocks.

> A few months ago I was struck by the appearance of a youth in town. He was wearing a rather splendidly cut and styled jacket. Somewhat  Edwardian, slightly nipped in and pinched waist. Slightly flared at the hips; hip length; smooth flat lapels. Sloping pockets. None of it overdone, but with a distinct taste of the Edwardian.

I couldn't resist (although I don't make a habit of approaching strangers.) I went up to him and said "You look good in that jacket."

He beamed, a charming beaming smile, which made him look even better. He said "Thank you."

I am pleased I did it. He was obviously happy, and after my initial anxiety so was I.

I have often said that if you can hang on to some of your clothes long enough, sooner or later that fashion will return.
Especially colours.

This thread has made me giggle

For those who wish to follow; Military is in, as are biscuit, cream, nude and oatmeal type colours.

I only really follow stuff for work wear (and depending what job I am in), or if I'm going out a lot (am housebound again cos of more back issues). So at the moment my wardrobe of choice for daywear is jeans, trainers and a hoody, evening/lounge wear is pyjamas, granny slippers and a dressing gown.

In your FASE Vogue.
